About Me
Hello! I'm Alfonso Marquez, a software engineer from México with a passion for game development.
My love for technology began with video games. By middle school, I knew I wanted to create them. I specialized in programming in high school and earned a degree in Software Development at university.
Before graduating, I interned at 2DNutz, assisting with R&D and SDK implementation. My VR video game thesis was well-received and showcased at a university event. After graduation, I joined 2DNutz full-time, eventually becoming lead developer and mentoring interns.
I freelanced as a web developer and participated in the "128 Bits" event, where I met a team that formed Bikonos. After the program ended, I freelanced for Hática New Media, deepening my web development skills and learning game technologies for the web.
I then led the development of a multiplayer platformer for Green Rabbit, an NFT game, but shifted focus to their browser game due to the NFT market crash.
Currently, I develop multiplayer casino browser games at PlayJeux Studios. My goal is to master 3D rendering, so I spend my free time learning C++, Vulkan, and DirectX, aspiring to become a 3D wizard.
